What's the difference between a Jewel Case, Sleeve and a Retail Box? A jewel case is a hard plastic case that houses the actual CD-ROM. It usually contains an information booklet describing the software and its installation. Sleeves are "environmentally conscience" packaging and simply are the CD-ROM housed in a paper or vinyl sleeve for safer shipping. All doumentation (help files) are contained on the actual CD. Retail Boxes contain the CD-ROM, frequently packaged in a sleeve or jewel case and sometimes a warranty card or booklet, but nothing else. In essence, the product is the same, only you pay more for the Retail Box packaging as it costs more to produce and ship. All of our products are BRAND NEW, not used.
